Gregor started drumming lessons at the age of 9 with the City of Edinburgh Schools Pipe Band.

The majority of his time with the City of Edinburgh Schools Pipe Band was spent as leading drummer. After leaving school, Gregor studied a degree in music, began tutoring drumming at South Morningside primary school, and played with the Vale of Atholl Pipe Band, where he helped the band achieve Champion of Champions and promotion to grade 3B. He has been a member of the City of Edinburgh Pipe Band since 2025.

Gregor is excited to work with the Preston Lodge High School Pipe Band and gain more experience as a drumming instructor.
