There are three committees associated with the Preston Lodge High School Pipe Bands.
Band Committee
The Band Committee looks after all the pipe bands and consists of the Pipe Major, Drum Major, Secretary, Treasurer and Chairman.

- Drum Major – Simon Grant (Prestonpans Schools Cluster Drumming Tutor)
- Chairman – Andrew McGregor
- Secretary – Catriona Black
- Treasurer – Cath Tait
The band hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) every year where plans for the band, involving trips, competitions and any changes to the programme structure are discussed. This is also an opportunity for all parents and family of band members to provide feedback, share experiences and ideas. All parents and guardians are encouraged to attend these meetings when available. For details of when the next AGM is, please get in touch.
Fundraising Committee
The fundraising committee meets about five times a year.
Activities Committee
The Activities Committee is made up of pupils from the band. A piper and drummer from both the novice and juvenile bands meet to organise fun days out for the band to encourage teamwork and camaraderie. All band members are encouraged to suggest activities and participate in these events. Past activities include bowling and paint-balling.
