Preston Lodge High School Pipe Bands
The Preston Lodge High School pipe band programme was established in 2007 under the auspices of the east Lothian Pipes and Drums Trust – now Scottish Schools Pipes and Drums Trust.
The Preston Lodge High School Pipe Bands are a proud and vibrant part of the school and wider Prestonpans community. Bringing together young pipers and drummers from all year groups, the bands offer pupils the chance to develop musicianship, confidence, and teamwork while carrying forward a rich Scottish tradition.
With a strong commitment to excellence, the bands perform at school and community events throughout the year and regularly take part in competitions across Scotland. Whether on the parade ground, the concert stage, or the competition arena, Preston Lodge’s young musicians represent their school with skill, discipline, and unmistakable East Lothian spirit.
Driven by dedicated tutors and the enthusiasm of its players, the Preston Lodge High School Pipe Bands continue to grow, inspire, and celebrate the power of music to bring people together.
