SUMMARY:Scottish Schools Pipe Band Championships
DESCRIPTION:Pipe band competition at the William McIlvanney Campus in Kilmarnock.  Bus provided for both novice and juvenile bands. \nTransport\n\n\nThe coach is booked to leave PL at 0745 so we need everyone there for 0730 to load up.\nCoach will be in the school car park opposite Middleshot Square\nWe are assuming all pupils are travelling on the coach with us\nWe anticipate returning to PL between 1930 and 2000. We will update on the WhatsApp group\nThere is no toilet on the bus\n\nWhat to bring\n\n\nTravel in uniform and make sure your uniform is neat and tidy – shirts and kilts ironed and shoes polished – Remember your glengarry. Capes not required.\nYou can bring a change of clothes if you wish to change after you’ve played. I don’t want people wandering about in uniform wearing crocs or other non-uniform items. It’s not a good look. You should either be in full uniform or not.\nInstruments etc – everything you need to play.\nPacked lunch – there will be a canteen but it’s a long day so could turn out to be expensive\nWater bottles\nEarplugs\n\nPlaying times\n\n\n\nFor parents coming to spectate the Novice band plays at 1108 and the Juvenile Band at 1154.\n\nFurther Instructions\n\n\n\nWe will be allocated a classroom for the day. Please put litter in bins and don’t play with any of the stuff in the room. We are responsible for any breakages.\nDo not leave the school building at any time\nPlease ensure your child has our numbers saved on their phone\nPlease ensure all uniform is labelled with your child’s name\nIf anyone is not travelling with the band then please reply to this email thread to let us know by Friday 8 March
