Welcome to the Preston Lodge High School pipe bands!

Welcome

The Preston Lodge High School pipe band programme was established in 2007 and now fields a development, novice and juvenile band.  Tuition is free, and pupils start to learn in the primary schools that feed into Preston Lodge High School. The bands perform locally, further afield in Scotland and sometimes abroad.  Pupils take part in solo and band competitions and can achieve qualifications through the Curriculum for Excellence and the Piping and Drumming Qualifications Board.  The programme is mainly funded by the Scottish Schools Pipes and Drums Trust
